7digital What we said: Describing a band’s output “lovely” might sound a little lame but, really, there’s no more fitting catch-all for Real Estate’s doe-eyed ditties. Three albums in, the New Jersey-formed four-piece are still all about that sun-dappled, West Coast sound, but they’ve sharpened their pop focus and upgraded the fidelity, with Tom Schick providing crisp production. If you can survive "Talking Backwards" or "April’s Song" without swooning, you’re made of sterner stuff than us.
