For months she had found herself crying every time she heard one of her favorite bands, The Ramones. Why, she kept thinking, was it so much easier for boys? That night, angry as hell, she wrote and recorded Under-Estimate The Girl, which captured perfectly a moment in Kate's life, a punk state of mind that screams throughout her third album Girl Talk. Keep in mind that Nash still loves to play the piano, though, and the fact she chose to record in Echo Park, LA, just to work with Tom Biller (Liars, Kanye West) makes the whole project even more intriguing.
