    Passenger

Though probably still best known for his breakthrough hit ‘Let Her Go’, Michael Rosenberg’s released two studio albums since 2012’s platinum-selling All The Little Lights. Following last year’s follow-up, Whispers, the Brighton-based singer-songwriter has just shared Whispers II, the proceeds of which he’s donating directly to UNICEF. Live, you can expect his intimate folk-pop to be turned up a notch or two, as he despatches a set that’s sure to be one of the festival's highlights.

    The Unthanks

Mixing traditional English folk songs with original compositions informed by prog-rock and jazz, The Unthanks possess a more fluid approach to genre than many of their peers. Indeed, latest LP Mount The Air is probably the trio’s most diverse to date, and it’s also their most acclaimed. Hear selected highlights during their set on Saturday, and get set to swoon along to Rachel and Becky’s delicate vocal harmonies, which are delivered in a beautiful Northumbrian burr.

    Frank Turner

Formerly the frontman of post-hardcore outfit Million Dead, Frank Turner has retained much of that indignant energy in his solo work. Pitched somewhere between punk and folk-rock, his five studio albums to date have won him a devoted fan base, plus support slots with bands as diverse as The Offspring, Dropkick Murphys and Modest Mouse. Get a sneak preview of material from his forthcoming sixth album, Positive Songs for Negative People, during his set on Friday.
