7digital What we said: If you had to name two things you’d expect from a Chemical Brothers full-length, they’d be big beats and big name guest vocalists. Album number eight definitely delivers on that score, finding the duo variously setting the voices of Beck, Q-Tip, St. Vincent and Cate Le Bon amongst their electronic maelstrom. For our money, it’s the instrumental cuts that really shine on Born In The Echoes, most notably the coruscating electro-house of "Reflexion", the minimal techno of "Just Bang" and the acid-tinged "EML Ritual". Also worth commendation is the psychedelic, "Tomorrow Never Knows"-inspired "I’ll See You There", its reverse loops and cymbal heavy-percussion making it feel like the unofficial sequel to 1999-smash "Let Forever Be".
