Audiophiles, let’s talk audio files. On this page are the albums that we have available in the FLAC format. FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) means that you’re getting music that, while being compressed for a reduced file size and a speedier download, suffers no loss of quality in the process. None whatsoever. Not even a little bit.
Naturally, our MP3s are the highest standard available, so rest assured: the MP3s you download from us are pretty damn decent – near CD quality. And most of us are very satisfied with that. It’s just that FLAC is that little bit better - or, PERFECT, you could say. We just did.
Our two latest additions to our FLAC catalogue are both 24-bit, which really is the best of the best – better than CD, in fact. The reason for this is that CD is capable of a 16-bit maximum, so when music is produced in a 24-bit studio, like the most recent Radiohead album, it takes a format like 24-bit FLAC to play the music in all its glory.
We’re always striving to get you the best quality audio files around – and we’re often up there leading the way – from DRM-free, to 320K MP3 and now FLAC. Check back for more FLAC additions.

So when, back in February, the lads dropped their predictably great eighth album on the public at predictably short notice, many thought Thom Yorke’s highly unpredictable body-popping in the video for ‘Lotus Flower’ was the only ace up their sleeve... Ta-da! Their real trick is presenting this Deluxe 24-bit FLAC package, meaning you can experience The King of Limbs in a format that does justice to its 24-bit mastering. Essentially, it’s like joining them in the studio but minus the cabin-fever – result!
Always renowned as one of the British rock scene’s most formidable live forces, it took over a decade of hard graft for Biffy Clyro to finally reach the stadium-sized audiences they’d dreamed of, headlining Wembley on their ‘Only Revolutions’ tour back in December 2010. Now fans can relive every note of their sold-out gig in pin-sharp, better-than-CD quality, with our exclusive 24-bit FLAC edition of their first full-length live album. From the fearsome chug of ‘Booooom, Blast and Ruin’ to the epic kiss-off of ‘Mountains’, there’s ample evidence in these rollicking renditions as to why the lads have deservedly made the leap from cult-curiosity to arguably Scotland’s biggest band. ‘Mon the Biff!
