Music From TV Ads

Adverts - you know, those things that last five minutes between telly programmes while you go and make your brew. There are plenty of annoying adverts out there, but there are also plenty of funny, charming and plain weird ads out there too.

Many of these good adverts also feature good music, and this is the place to find that music. We regularly update this page with music from some of the newest ads, as well as a section about recent favourites.

You can also have a bit of a giggle by watching our Current Favourites in the video to the left. Just click play and use the arrows to cycle though each one.

Harry Belafonte - Greatest Hits Lynx Hot Fever

Ah the magical powers of Lynx: How disappointing it is that only the men featured on the TV adverts manage to harness them. In this instalment we witness Lynx enable a man to grow a large pair of, ahem, maracas. At this rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was a Carry On Deodorising movie out by Christmas

Black Box - Ride on Time Britvic Drench

It's best not to think too hard about this advert. A strange juxtaposition of cowboys, giant pheasants, fruit juice, and an 80s club classic. Despite this we have been assured that Britvic Drench has no hallucinatory properties.

Shirley Bassey - The Collection Heineken

Yes, beer is alive. And, like us, its life will flash before it when time is finally called. Lucky then that we were invited to glimpse at what this brew saw when it thought it was all over - just before the bottle broke and it evaporated to a yeasty, hoppy heaven. Even luckier, though, that it was caught, saved and put back - so people could use it as an ashtray.

Kool & The Gang - Wild And Peaceful Fosters

Kool & The Gang
Jungle Boogie

Kool and the Gang’s Jungle Boogie is the soundtrack to this new Fosters ad, featuring some natives and a Japanese tourist boogying in the jungle. Assuming the beer company keep this literal minded ad man on board, if you can knock out a catchy number entitled ‘Drink Beer!’ you could be rolling in royalties this time next year.
